The rocket was modified right before the first launch. We thought that the extended parts of the fins were unsturdy from the bottom, so we cut those off to increase the sturdiness of the rocket. Though, later we realized that it was a mistake and could have possibly even benefitted the rocket launch. Initially, we had used white glue to join the straw with the rocket but since it came off easily, we hot-glued the straw to the body. Because we had made some errors in making the engine holder, the engine did not properly fit in the dime roller. So we used a utility knife to make the area around the dime roller more loose, in effect allowing the engine to properly fit in its place. After the first launch, we worked on making the rocket more stable. We put more tape on the nosecone and on all the three fins to make them balanced and more sturdy.
